Buyers who switched from a competitor

Seven commenters describe returning or rejecting another brand in favour of the Neck Flex — most often the Iron Neck.

I've had my Neck Flex for a couple months now and I'm absolutely loving it. Before that I purchased the iron neck harness and I ended up returning it. No comparison. American made, Veteran owned, unmatched quality. Best neck strengthening piece of equipment out there!

▲ 7@JasonGage · 1 year ago · source video

I bought an inexpensive neck harness from Amazon and immediately returned. The construction wasn't bad at all...but it just was designed to be function. So I muddled my way through using plates while laying on a flat bench while wearing a skull cap for a few weeks before seeing your video. I've had enough of those headaches from balancing a hard plate on my noggin and was just about to order an Iron Neck harness before catching your video. I took a shot and ordered the Neck Flex MMB Pro...and love it.

@jimr880 · 7 months ago · source video

Man so happy you made this video. Saved me from buying that Iron Neck Alpha Harness. I have a Spud Inc neck harness and it's heavy duty but was looking for something with a chin strap and more versatile. Probably gonna grab a neck flex with the pulley attachment!

@shu9460 · 5 months ago · source video

This is great news. I just bought a neck harness by Iron Neck, basically same type you're using in this video. I thought I could make good use of it until I could afford the Iron Neck, but I'm gonna get this Revolver attachment instead! Perfect

@Chiburi · 2 years ago · source video

These are great toys right out of the ass to build neck strength, and thickness I purchased two neck tube plates. These little, comfortable tubes can really hold some plate weights without hurting your forehead. I also purchased the Iron neck Alpha which I am happy with.Neck flex Halo is the winner here tho! 💯💪

@louieortega3378 · 10 months ago · source video

Dude, thank you for this. You solved all of my "neck training search for the right piece of equipment" mysteries in less than 10 minutes. Going with the Neck Flex Halo bundle!

@jonathanreid8024 · 6 months ago · source video

Thank you so much for the review. I was thinking about getting the iron neck harness, but the small but important detail about the orientation of the front and back d-rings was quite informative. I'm considering buying the neck flex halo or mmb.

People reporting measured neck growth

Four commenters give a specific measurement. One tracked his neck from 17 inches to 19.5 over two years.

Neck flex is the single best thing I have bought for my gym since my power rack..I use it 3 times per week and have put on over two inches to my neck size.

▲ 9@Mr-mopar · 4 years ago · source video

Love my neck flex it is the best piece of home equipment I have bought.. I feel with the constant tension of the bands compared to plates makes a huge difference..i have added over an inch to my neck in 9 months ..I also have a new vein popping out the front which I wanted..

▲ 8@Mr-mopar · 5 years ago · source video

Love my neck flex. I had a fat 17 inch neck at 49 years old and now at 51 I have 19.5 ripped neck and hoping to hit 20 inch's year. I figured out how to do rotation work on it now and did it yesterday's workout. I am going to buy a new harness this year and give my daughters my old one as they both are doing Olympic weighting , and track and field.

@Mr-mopar · 1 year ago · source video

I bought a neck flex a year ago .I have put two inches on my neck..I look totally different now.

@Mr-mopar · 4 years ago · source video

The kit those comments are about

HALO, MMB Pro and Ballistic Kevlar® kits, plus the Revolver™ rotation attachment. Four-way neck training, sold direct from the maker.

Sold direct at theneckflex.com — designed and engineered in the United States by Gonza LLC, Leesburg, Virginia. Bundles available.

Clinicians, rehab and older lifters

A chiropractor has published three separate Neck Flex reviews, and commenters describe using it for jiu-jitsu neck pain, posture and fall risk.

The Neck Flex has the best equipment for training neck and for rehabilitation. It has fixed my neck pain from years of jiu jitsu and grappling. The first part of any workout or class is strapping on a Neck Flex and warming up the Neck and upper spine.

@coalman1313 · 4 months ago · source video

This is an excellent demo! Some neck rehab and training equipment are inexpensive - it shows. Some are very expensive and for no good reason that I can tell. I got the Neck Flex Original with the bands - from this video. Putting in work, keeping it simple, and I am very happy. Thank you Dr. Kulla

@coalman1313 · 1 year ago · source video

Neck Flex can improve or prevent the forward neck and rounded back that a lot of seniors start to get which actually can cause you to fall easier because your head mass is pulling you forward and down. Also if you fall it is your neck muscles you have to rely on to prevent your head from banging the pavement. I am very happy to own the Neck Flex rather than a generic neck harness knowing I have the best piece of equipment for neck training.

Combat sports and the military

Hey Shark thanks for the Video and introduction to the neck flex product. My neck flex just came in and I love it! I'm in the Army and I have been taped since I joined the Army. My goal is to have a 20 inch neck and with the neck flex I'm sure it's definitely possible now lol.

Been doing this for about four months almost five and I've noticed that I know have a problem neck flexing at opponents in the gym whom believe there neck is next level and I'm slowly but shurley becoming a ninja turtle

On build quality and versatility

The Neck Flex is Best in the business. I own two. I have the Original which I use on cable machines, and the MMB Pro with the dog ears for plate loading. Either can do both, but I prefer the dog ears for plates. These are hands down the most comfortable, durable, and flat out professional neck harnesses in production. When I say professional I mean College to Pro football, MMA, Boxing, or whatever your sport may be into. This is the real deal.

I appreciate the video. I'm looking at purchasing a Neck Flex harness and your video has helped me towards a decision.

@florecista1 · 2 months ago · source video

really enjoyed how well elaborated this video is, by showing us exactly what muscles are being activated, and the pros and cons on how you can and shouldn't be working out your neck. Definitely going to invest in one of those neck Flex. #subscribed

The critical comments

Price is the recurring criticism, and international shipping is the second. Both are published here unedited.

That neck flex is $100. Ain't no way I'm buying that. They didn't even offer a discount.
What kinda sponsor is this?

▲ 164@Paladin_Zero · 7 years ago · source video

Ridiculous prices for the neck flex tho. Amazon has decent ones under $30.

▲ 27@awildgrendel7148 · 7 years ago · source video

I want to buy a neck flex but the shipping to the UK costs a fortune!

@MJB_18 · 6 years ago · source video

I made a DIY neckflex revolver with some wire looped and crimped at the ends of the neck harness links...the pully is unnecessary.

@erinb4745 · 10 months ago · source video

i have both an iron neck pro and a neck flex that i've had for a good 3 years now. each one has it's own benefit, i like the idea of the neck flex revolver especially since i could throw it in my gym bag without the excessive bulk. only drawback is that there is no rotational resistance, just a free wheel pulley. that's where the iron neck shines but i'll pick up a revolver just because it's nice to have options....you only get one neck so take care of it!

@benhartland4708 · 1 year ago · source video

The Iron Neck can allow one to rotate 360, but not the Neck Flex. Otherwise, the Neck Flex can do pretty much what the Iron Neck can do.

Comments from people with a relationship to the brand

Two of the most visible comments about the Neck Flex come from people who are paid or sponsored. They are labelled as such rather than mixed in with the independent ones.

The Neck Flex is the be all end all when it comes to Neck Training. Where the possibilities are only limited to your imagination.

How these were collected

Every comment above was read directly from the video's live comment thread and transcribed character for character, including typos and emoji. Handles are exactly as YouTube displays them. Where a comment has been shortened it is marked with an ellipsis and linked to the source video.

495 comments were captured in total across 18 videos; the ones published here are those that name the Neck Flex or describe a specific experience with it. Comments from the brand's own account and from channel hosts are excluded from the testimony sections. Critical comments are published alongside positive ones, and none has been removed.
